The American and Chinese Giants expand in Switzerland
Chinese companies show a growing interest in the Swiss business market. The reasons which lead the Chinese to invest in Swiss territory, are the interest in the brand “Swissness” tradition, the opportunity to acquire a certain know-how in high technology areas and finally diversify their portfolios through the use strategic of their capital abroad. But, apparently, not only Chinese companies but also, the major search engine, Google, shows a propensity for Switzerland. The American search engine has, in effect, arrived in Zurich occupying, for days, with about 300 employees two floors of the important post office, Sihlpost. But the rise of Giants American, does not stop there. Google has intention to rent 50,000 square meters in several buildings in the complex Europaallee within 2020.
