Switzerland possible headquarters of Bitfinex

Bitfinex, one of the most important Bitcoin exchange  is planning tomove it’s seat from Hong Kong to Switzerland.

Jean Louise van der Velde, CEO of Bitfinex, said: “We are looking for a new domicile for Bitfinex and the parent company iFinex, where we want to merge the operations previously spread over several locations; Switzerland is at the top of the list of jurisdiction that we are evaluating”.

The issue is not yet decided, much will depend also on the answers that the regulatory authorities will provide, (including the FINMA Financial Market Supervisory Authority), but if the transfer operation to Switzerland will end positively, Switzerland could further assert its own position as Cripto-valley worldwide.
