In the digital world it is difficult for an artist to get the credibility that he desires, an image is created and shared and the next minute is copied by others.
Now, the artist's work can be saved using the blockchain.
With an intelligent contract, artists could record their work on a ledger, shared and permanent, protectibg copyright for their artwork. Whether it's physical or digital art, the artist and the collector will have complete control over the property. If someone tried to copy the artwork, both parties, the owner and the artist, could use the blockchain to prove who is the author..
As "Stelva" we founded the cultural project: "Stelva Artist in Residence", born with the aim of inviting selected artists from other continents to Europe to allow them to express themselves in a stimulating context totally different from theirs, coming into contact with people that belong to different cultures, creating an important cultural exchange.
In this context, on 24 February 2018 at the MO.CA, the center for new cultures in Brescia, we will present a triptych by the Singapore artist Ruben Pang and, at 6 pm, for the inauguration of the exhibition "Meccaniche della meraviglia", Ruben Pang, personally, will deliver and sign the first 100 visitors a card with the representation of the triptych, making it a unique limited edition artwork.
During the inauguration, the triptych by Ruben Pang will be added to the blockchain! This thanks to the "art certification in blockchain" created by Alessandro Bocchio that will allow artists to overcome, definitively, the problems of authenticity and copyright of the artworks.
The system allows you to certify a work of art, in all its forms, forever binding the digital and physical art to a single token, recorded on the bitcoin blockchain.
The digital certification will be stored in a physical wallet that will be delivered to the rightful owner allowing it to verify the presence of the content at any time.
The Stelva group is pleased to invite you to the opening of the exhibition, where art and technological innovation will meet, creating a new and promising Guild.
