Switzerland's economics minister: "we must become a crypto-nation"!

These are the words of Johann Schneider-Ammann, Switzerland’s economics minister, according to whom Switzerland should strive to become a "crypto-nation".

Switzerland is (together with Japan) one of the world's advanced countries embracing cryptocurrencies, clearly demonstrated by the fact that, to date, the Canton of Zug is called "Crypto-Valley".

During an interview with the local radio and television broadcaster SRF, the minister recalled that Switzerland has always been a protagonist in many innovative sectors over the past few years, and the cryptocurrencies, together with the fourth industrial revolution, could be the new field in which the country could take the initiative.

The sentence with which he closed his speech is charged with meaning: "We are at an early stage with special risks, but if we are willing to take these risks, we also open ourselves to any possibility! and I want to help create these opportunities ".
